INFINITY JARS+BREAST MILK LOTION Posted on January 21, 201711 Comments

Infinity Jars are one of my new household staples! With my postpartum body, I have been in desperate need of help; breast milk lotion seemed like a promising solution. Never made it? Here’s how:

Breast Milk Lotion How To

3 Ounces of Breast Milk at Room Temperature

3 Ounces Grape Seed Oil

1 Tablespoon Beeswax

3 Drops Vitamin E Oil

1 Tablespoon Essential Oil (I did Eucalyptus!)

  1. Microwave your grape seed oil and beeswax until melted.
  2. Gradually whisk in Vitamin E oil and breast milk.
  3. Pour into your Infinity Jars and allow to cool and thicken. Refrigerate.
  4. Use daily to lotion away scars and stretchmarks

Jars that Change the Game

So; what is it about these Infinity Jars that I keep talking about? I will tell you. Infinity Jars are a new brand that we recently found. I originally loved them for the slick, black glass. I knew they would look great in any room of my house: kitchen, bathroom, living room. Looking into them, I began to learn about just how important that beautiful black glass is. Their website states, “What sets Infinity Jars apart from all other jars is that it blocks out all harmful visible light rays while selectively ALLOWING infrared and UV-A rays.”

The black glass is a preserving factor for my lotions. The dark colors block out harsh UV rays, giving my lotion a shelf life of over 6 months, as opposed to 3.

Versatility at its Finest

I loved the screw top jar, it was perfect for my DIY lotion as well as many items from my kitchen such as: herbs, spices, and coffee.  There is also a pump bottle that is great for dispensing lotion, soap, or any other thick liquid.  The collection also contains a roll on bottle that works for my homemade perfume collections. It keeps the delicate aromas pungent and beautiful. This set we received also contained a spray bottle. We love to put our olive oil in this bottle. You can spray your baking pans with your oil instead of the spay that contains harmful chemicals. The dark bottles are perfect for keeping a good quality oil fresh for far longer than if stored in regular bottles.

And you want to talk endless possibilities? I can use that jar for my engagement ring and wedding band while at the beach or active vacation. I just love knowing that I can keep my precious and valuable possessions safe from all the elements!

  1. THese are beautiful jars. I love that the dark color blocks out harmful light rays that could damage the contents inside.
